As you can see we have completed the basic aspects of our new building.
An enormous amount of work went into this project. The most visible
part is the building itself, but, before work begun on that, we
had over $100,000 worth of permits and leveling and underground
work to take care of. In addition to the cost of our bid, we need
to order all the kitchen equipment and tables and chairs.
We will need landscaping and more concrete work to complete the
outside.
The estimated cost of everything is $1.6 million.
We are very grateful for the continued contributions of our parishioners
and friends of the parish. The balance of the cost is coming in
various parish fund raisers like Sunday in the Country; from ongoing
contributions from parishioners and remembrances from memorials
of people who have died, and through a loan from a bank, if we need
it, to complete the project. I am so grateful to so many people
who have contributed to this parish project. It is a big undertaking
for a small parish, and we are nearly there thanks to the faith
and generosity of many people. Let us pray for God's continued blessing
on all of us.

FORWARD IN FAITH
On Sept. 10/11, 2005 we started our drive to build our
Parish Hall/Meeting rooms/Classrooms. The total
cost is estimated to be 1.6 million. We need to raise the cost
from direct donations and ask for your prayers and for your sacrificial
donations and ask for your prayers and for your sacrificial giving
to help make this parish need a reality. So far, with 201 individuals/families
donating/pledging, we have raised $658,600 in cash and $53,600 in
pledges, a total of $712,200. If you have not given or pledged already,
please pray about it and consider joining us as we thank God for
His many, many blessings. Let us go FORWARD IN FAITH
together.
WALL OF FAME
When our hall is built, we will have a
framed document in the entryway which will have an alphabetized
list of the names of all who have donated to the construction. Some
may choose to give so much per month for the next year, or the next
two years, or beyond.
WE ARE NOT BRINGING IN A PROFESSIONAL FUND-RAISING COMPANY; WE
ARE DOING THIS OURSELVES.

In order to raise $700,000, we need gifts of the following
amounts:
- Two gifts of $50,000
- Eight gifts of $25,000
- Fifteen gifts of $10,000
- Twenty-five gifts of $5,000
- Thirty gifts of $2,500
- Thirty gifts of $1,000
- Various gifts of other amounts |
OVER TWO
YEARS,
- giving $25,000 would mean a gift of approximately $1,000
per month.
- giving $10,000 would mean a gift of approximately $420 per
month.
- giving $5,000 would mean a gift of approximately $210 a
month.
- giving $2,500 would mean a gift of approximately $105 per
month.
- giving $1,000 would mean a gift of approximately $42 per
month.

HALL RENTAL INFORMATION
Any St. Joachim parish organization gets to use the hall free, as
does anyone who has a funeral which takes place at our Church, or
is officiated by a St. Joachim priest or deacon. Parishoners who
use Parish Envelopes on a regular basis (24 times in any year) receive
$500 off Hall rental. If you haven't already signed up for envelopes,
please use the form in the front of the bulletin to do so. Thank
